Pridmore Corporation also uses ISO 9002 standards as a guide to manage quality in our own procedures for procurement, materials handling, storage, packaging, preservation, delivery, product identification, process control, inspection, testing, control of nonconforming product, corrective and preventative action reporting, control of quality records, document and data control, training, and management responsibility.
Procedures and training are in place to assure that components are unpacked, stored, handled, and shipped in accordance with product requirements and the highest standards of electronics industry practice.QC is a separate function within the company, reporting directly to the company president. QC uses written procedures in implementing component inspection and testing, and supervises the maintenance of quality records. Formal procedures apply to the treatment of nonconforming parts and the issuance of corrective action directives.
